Founded in 1868, J. R. Williams nowadays is a provider of docker, logistical, packaging and security services. We are a family business where shareholders and directories can actively participate in the daily activities, supported by a professional group of collaborators in order to satisfy all the requirements of our clients.

J. R. Williams dedicates its principal activities to different areas of business: maritime agency, integral cargo logistics, dock operations, and assessment and sale of systems of packaging and security.

We integrate the share capital and participate actively in other companies dedicated to handling cargo and logistics in and out of the port of Montevideo, some of which include: Depósitos Montevideo S.A. (Dock warehouses), Starfish S.A. (Cargo Agent), y ONE (Ocean Network Express Uruguay S.A.) (Uruguayan representative of ONE).
They also are part of the group “company Luna Quieta S.A. (tender operator «LUNA» in the Punta del Este dock) Our company in Paraguay, Cargopack Paraguay S.A., is dedicated to transport services, security, and packaging.
